My Web History
In 1999 I taught myself HTML and built my first website as a tribute to missionaries in France. Soon thereafter I started my quest to make money on the internet. My first commercial website was an attempt to sell long distance and other telephone services as an affiliate marketer. I spent hours every day for many months developing the site, only for it to end in total failure. I never received a single paycheck.
Over the next several years I built many websites and tried dozens of business opportunities only to fail most of the time. After nearly five years of trial and error, I finally struck some successful niches, and the rest--as they say--is history. Interestingly, one of the successful business models I used was affiliate marketing. I guess it's ironic that my first attempt and failure at internet business would return to be my bread and butter six years later.
Current Operations
I currently own and operate more than 50 websites; most of which are designed to promote products and services for companies that I am affiliated with. A handful of the sites are pretty big, but the majority are what I would call "mini-sites", which consist of only a few pages. Sorry, but I'm not going to list all of my websites, due to the competitive nature of the business...
I also run a handful of non-business sites such my brother's site and an online prayer ministry called PrayWay.
